Brief Information

Depart Dar es Salaam at 6:00am to Saadani National Park with lunch packed via Bagamoyo, the ancient town of slaves. Drive will take 3-4hours then check in the Saadani Park and starting the game drive in the park. Saadani National Park is a most wonderful park in Africa where the beach meets the bush. The only wildlife sanctuary in East Africa to boast an Indian Ocean beachfront, it possesses all the attributes that make Tanzania’s tropical coastline and islands so popular with European sun-worshippers. Name ‘Saadani’ come from the Swahili word ‘Saa ndani’ Our professional guide will explain to you how and why ‘saa ndani’ word become ‘Saadani’. Also the park is home to Green turtle where the incubation takes place. Saadani sunset view has become amazing attracting viewing. Animals commonly found Include Impalas, eland, buffalo, wildebeest, giraffe, zebra and elephants and over 200 bird’s species such as turraco, weavers, hornbills, guinefowls, Storks. Late afternoon games drive en route back to Dar es Salaam via Bagamoyo.
